Khan Curry Hut

Khan Curry Hut would have to be my favourite Indian restaurant in Geelong and have, by far, the best butter chicken I have ever eaten. I just happened to be in there ordering some of the same when I got into a discussion regarding their lack of a website.

The site is designed mostly in Adobe Photoshop with a few Illustrator elements here and there. There is only the tiniest bit of Javascript on the index page and the site is majorly XHTML/CSS but if you check out the take-away section you will find an assisted ordering system which was created in PHP.

The system was developed as a way to save time on the phone and also to guide customers to the correct restaurant as there are two Khan Curry Hut locations.

The project involved a fair bit of on-site photography and included some product photography as well. The initial design was developed from their current business card with a few logo enhancements for screen.

A big thank-you goes out to Jazz for his PHP skills on this one. Jazz will soon be bringing you some tutorials in PHP and various other programming languages.

Khan Curry Hut’s first ever website is now up and running and awaiting your attention so hop on over and check it out at www.khancurryhut.com.au
